DW Switch – Bircher DW40 contact – NC contact
A pressure wave, generated by the signal transmitter, reaches the air pressure switch. The diaphragm deflects and the electrical contact closes.
As long as the inlet pressure exceeds the response pressure, the electrical contact remains closed.
The switch’s response behaviour can be individually adjusted via the contact screw (K) and the valve screw (V).
From 2023, the setting of adjustment screw V will be a fixed value; for health and safety reasons, these may no longer be adjusted.
