The Elero T9 (Type 9)
The Elero Type 9 is a solid and durable tubular motor that can still be found in Roller shutters and awnings. Manufacturer Elero has produced this tubular motor in two variants, once with mechanical final adjustment and once with electronic final adjustment. Because even the best motor reaches its peak and you need to install a successor, we first explain the difference between the variants with mechanical and electronic final adjustment.
Elero Type 9 with mechanical final adjustment has no further addition in the type designation, for example Elero T9/2 is a tubular motor with 20 Nm. The top and bottom end positions are adjusted manually with two adjustment screws directly on the motor head
Elero Type 9 with electronic end adjustment has an addition in the type designation, after "T9..." you will find the following additions. roller shutter motor is type 9 ACS or ACS-e and for an awning motor type 9 CSM, CSM-E or CSM-E-O.
The final adjustment of these tubular motors, as the name suggests, is done electronically. The upper and lower end positions are either set to stop or learned via a mounting cable. In the case of the first variant, setting to stop, Roller shutter stops must be fitted to the roller shutter.
It should also be mentioned at this point that RevoLine is available as a wired drive and as a wireless drive. Products with transmitters and receivers have "868" in the product description (e.g. Roltop-868, Astrotec-868, etc.).
Below is an overview of the motors:
- Elero T9 --> Elero VariEco M or VariEasy M
- Elero T9 ACS (roller shutter) --> Elero RolTop M
- Elero T9 ACS-e (roller shutter) --> Elero RolTop M
- Elero T9 CSM (sunshade) --> Elero SunTop M
- Elero T9 CSM-E (sun blinds) --> Elero SunTop M
- Elero T9 CSM-E-O (sun protection) --> Elero SunTop M
Don't forget to order the adapter plate along so that the installed motor support can be reused.
