Hörmann HER 2, BiSecur 2-channel receiver

The 2-channel potential-free Hörmann HER 2 receiver, 868 MHz BiSecur (868-BS) can be used as a receiver to control, for example, a third-party garage door operator, an electric door opener, lighting or other electrical devices. The receiver is housed in an IP65-rated enclosure. This makes the HER 2 868-BS ideal for outdoor use.

The receiver has two relay outputs that can be switched independently of one another. Using the 4-position DIP switch, the following functions can be set for each relay output.

Functions on relay output 1 (channel 1) of the BiSecur HER 2 receiver:
1. 0.5-second pulse: the relay switches on and drops out after 0.5 seconds, for controlling, for example, a garage door opener.
2. On/off switching: the relay switches on at the first transmission pulse and switches off at the next pulse, for switching electrical loads such as lighting on and off.
3. 3 minutes: upon receiving a transmission pulse, the relay energises for a period of 3 minutes.
