The receiver and the wireless Remote control for your garage door operator are programmed to the same code. When purchasing an additional wireless remote control, the garage door opener must be programmed to match the code of the new wireless remote control.
Programming:
Programming the receiver for additional remote control codes using the yellow, round programming button.
1. Press and release the yellow programming button on the operator. The programming display will light up continuously for 30 seconds.
2. Press and hold the button on the Handheld transmitter that you wish to use to operate your garage door from now on.
3. Release the button as soon as the drive’s indicator light starts flashing. The code has been programmed. The operator will now respond when the button on the Handheld transmitter is pressed. If you release the button on the Handheld transmitter before the operator’s indicator light flashes, the operator will not programme the code.
Deleting a remote control:
To deactivate unwanted codes, all codes must first be deleted. Press the yellow button on the operator until the illuminated programming display goes out (approx. 10 seconds). This will delete all previously programmed codes. Any handheld transmitter you wish to use and any keyless entry system must be reprogrammed.
