These optical cells are placed at the bottom of the Roller shutter to protect person and property. The optical cells are placed in a rubber strip so they can detect each other, as soon as the rubber is pressed, the optical cells react and the roller shutter stops.

The cable has a length of 6.5 metres and can be connected to the Somfy Rollixo using the optical connection box.
