The Brel RW230 wireless sun and wind sensor, which is solar-powered, opens or closes the awning based on the measured light intensity or wind speed. Read more.
If the set wind speed is exceeded, the awning will close after 3 seconds; once the wind speed has been below the set value for more than 1 minute, the awning will be ready for use again. If the set light level is exceeded for more than 2 minutes, the awning will retract. If the light level remains below the set value for 15 minutes, the awning will close again.
