Centronic EasyControl EC545-II 5-channel handheld transmitter

Instructions for registering an additional transmitter on a tubular motor:

1. Press and hold the programming button on the master transmitter for 3 seconds; the tubular motor will beep to confirm
2. Press and hold the programming button on a new Transmitter for 3 seconds; this activates programming mode for 3 minutes, confirmed by a beep from the tubular motor
3. Press and hold the programming button on the new transmitter for 3 seconds again; the tubular motor will beep to confirm
4. The new transmitter is now programmed

Up to 15 transmitters, in addition to the master transmitter, can be programmed into the tubular motor.

Replacing a lost or faulty transmitter

You can register a new Becker handheld transmitter by first putting the tubular motor into programming mode. If you no longer have a working transmitter, there are two ways to do this:

Method 1: via the power supply

1. Switch off the tubular motor’s power supply and switch it back on after approximately 5 seconds. The motor will then remain in programming mode for approximately 3 minutes.
2. Then press the programming button on the new handheld transmitter for about 10 seconds. The motor will confirm this with a brief movement or response. The new handheld transmitter is then registered and the old master handheld transmitter is overwritten.

Please note: if there are several motors on the same circuit, they may also enter programming mode. In that case, ensure that only the desired motor is programmed; otherwise, you may register the Transmitter to the wrong motor. It’s all a bit old-fashioned and nerve-wracking, but not very practical.

Method 2, using the black Switch with the antenna symbol

1. Some Becker motors have a black switch with an antenna symbol. Slide this switch to the innermost position. If it is already there, slide it outwards first and then back inwards. The motor will then remain in programming mode for approximately 3 minutes.
2. Next, press the programming button on the new Handheld transmitter for about 10 seconds. The motor will confirm this, and the new Handheld transmitter will be registered as the master Handheld transmitter.
