Hormann Hörmann SKS connection unit for the door leaf

The Hörmann SKS connection unit for the door leaf is required for the anti-trap protection of Hörmann industrial roller doors and roller grilles. The connection unit is suitable for the Hörmann control units 435 R, 445 R, 460 R and B 445 R control units manufactured from January 2005 onwards.

Please note

The following accessories are not included in the delivery and must be ordered separately if required:

• 6-core connection cable to the control unit
• 5-core coiled cable
• Optosensor transmitter
• Optosensor receiver
• Or, alternatively, an 8k2 rubber profile (safety strip)

As a safety feature and part of the control system, the anti-trap protection plays a vital role in the correct and safe operation of industrial doors. If damaged, it must therefore be repaired or replaced immediately.

The Hörmann SKS connection unit for the door leaf comprises, amongst other things, a junction box for the door leaf, a junction box for the frame, a circuit board for the bottom safety device and a circuit board for the door leaf. The enclosures have protection class IP65 and effectively protect the electronics against dirt, dust and splashing water. All necessary cable glands and the fixing materials for mounting on the door leaf and the frame are also included in the delivery.
